Oven won't heat
On an electric oven the bake element is a common failure. On a gas oven the igniter often weakens and can no longer open the gas valve.
An oven that won't heat or a burner that won't light can bring dinner to a stop. We repair gas and electric ranges, wall ovens and cooktops, and tell you the repair price before we begin.

Food bakes unevenly or the oven runs hot or cold. A temperature sensor, control, or element can be to blame.
Clogged burner ports, a wet or misplaced burner cap, or a bad spark module or igniter.
A failed surface element, its receptacle, or a burner switch.
The door lock motor or latch, or a control fault, may be preventing the cycle from running or finishing.
A control board or clock/relay failure, or an error code.
Worn hinges, a damaged door gasket, or a door switch issue.
We repair gas and electric ranges, wall ovens and cooktops from most common household brands, including Whirlpool, Maytag, GE, Samsung, LG, Frigidaire and Kenmore. For induction or specialty professional-style ranges, tell us the brand and model when you book and we'll let you know if we can help.
Write the brand and model number in the request form, or tell us when you call. The model number is usually on a label inside the door, lid or frame, or on the back of the unit.
We confirm a 2-hour arrival window, then the technician tests the heating, ignition and controls, and explains what failed and what it costs. The $95 diagnosis is applied toward the repair if you approve it. Some parts, like bake elements and igniters, are quick swaps; if we have it we can often repair it on that visit, otherwise we order it and return.
Elements, igniters, sensors and switches are generally affordable repairs. If a repair would cost a large share of a new range, or the range is very old, we'll tell you so you can choose.

The oven has its own heating components. On electric models that's usually the bake element; on gas models, the igniter or safety valve. The burners being fine tells us the power or gas supply is OK.
Continuous clicking means the spark module keeps firing, often because the burner is wet, dirty or the cap is misaligned. If it won't light after cleaning, have it checked.
Yes. We service cooktops, wall ovens and freestanding ranges, both gas and electric.
If food burns or undercooks regularly, the temperature sensor or control may need adjusting or replacing. We can test it during the diagnosis.
